Ayush Garg

Founding Software Engineer

Ayush's idea of a weekend is a 36-hour hackathon. He's done sixty of them. He joined Dryft as Founding Software Engineer, working on context retrieval and decision-modeling systems.

Before that, he studied Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo - then dropped out to build a deep-tech company, developing action models for autonomous flight in GPS-denied environments and raising funding from Pear VC.

He wins those hackathons, too - more than thirty so far. He's also organized a couple: one where teams raced to train an AI to play chess, another that grew into Canada's largest high school hackathon.

Outside of work, he's into cars and hacking on ambitious, occasionally random projects.
