Dimitrios Milonopoulos
Software Engineering
Dimi is a founding engineer at Dryft, where he engineers the backbone of Dryft’s platform, combining data systems, algorithms and AI agents. His experience is across the full stack, and large-scale data infrastructure.
Before Dryft, Dimi worked at Kyte as both a frontend and backend developer, building production features and backend services at scale. His key contributions included developing a real-time geolocation and geofencing system that managed over 3,000 cars and a financial system that processed $5M in transactions per month. He even set the company record for the most commits. He also engineered big data pipelines for Coca-Cola, processing billions of records to optimize business operations.
He graduated valedictorian from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a degree in Computer Science, where he specialized in scalable computing and algorithms.
Outside of work, Dimi trains in calisthenics, and experiments on new cookie recipes with his friends.
