Julius Otto
Product & Special Projects
Julius works closely with our CEO on product and special projects.
At age 18, Julius founded his first company while studying full-time, building marketing and recruiting products for mid-sized industrial companies. He scaled the business to €500k ARR and successfully exited by the age of 20. During that time, he worked with manufacturing firms with up to 1,000 employees, where he developed a strong passion for industrial operations and their challenges.
Building on this foundation, Julius gained further experience at J.P. Morgan and Aurelius Group. At J.P. Morgan, he built a Bloomberg-integrated Microsoft Excel tool using macros that automatically extracts, calculates, and analyzes market volatility data, significantly simplifying manual reporting processes. At Aurelius Group, a European private equity fund, he built a Python-based data scraper to identify and analyze companies across markets, automating a process that had previously been performed manually over long periods of time.
He is currently completing his degree in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim, with a semester abroad at HEC Paris. In parallel, he is actively involved in the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft, where he organizes workshops and events to strengthen entrepreneurship in the German Mittelstand.
In his free time, Julius played competitive volleyball in his youth, including at Bundesliga junior level, and stays active through volleyball and marathon training, alongside playing and composing piano.
