Janina Kublbeck

Head of GTM US

Janina grew up in Germany in a family of entrepreneurs, with a construction business spanning two generations. At Dryft, she leads the go-to-market for the US.

At the age of ten, she decided she would be Chancellor of Germany (fun fact: it is still on the list). That ambition took her from rural Bavaria to London, Paris, New York and finally San Francisco. Janina studied Philosophy, Politics & Economics at King's College, then did a dual Master's at Sciences Po in Paris and Columbia in New York, funded by scholarships from the DAAD and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.
Alongside her studies she worked on industrial and economic policy at the European Parliament, on automotive manufacturing strategy at McKinsey, and in research at Goldman Sachs on Wall Street. Most recently she was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group in New York, where she was promoted a year ahead of her cohort.

Outside of work she is always in motion, whether hiking, boxing or traveling solo. She sings, plays three instruments, picked up French on the side and is hard to beat at karaoke. Most of all she loves meeting people from different walks of life and finding unexpected common ground.
