Estelle Kulow
Chief of Staff
Estelle moves fast, she always has. She grew up on the track as a heptathlete before specializing in 1500m, becoming a two-time Bavarian Champion and a German Championships finalist. The grit never left, even after she stopped competing.
Long before Dryft, she was drawn to how operations run. She started in robotic process automation - an early version of today's AI agents, then moved into process mining at Celonis, building a tool that visualized over 2 million data points.
From there she worked across consulting, venture capital, and startups. At BCG, she built an Excel macro presented at the company's AI Blackbelt Day. She scouted Europe's highest-potential deep-tech ventures at Norrsken VC and UnternehmerTUM in Munich and Stockholm, before switching to the other side of the table: as a Founder's Associate, she helped raise a €10M Seed round for a Stockholm textile-recycling startup, and built scalable automations at Emidat, a construction-software company (General Catalyst backed).
She studied Computer Science and Management at TUM (Dean's List), then a Master's in AI in Society alongside CDTM, one of Europe's most selective entrepreneurship programs. She was valedictorian in high school (she also had a streak for being class rep for 10 years), Max-Weber Scholar (top 1% of German students), and has won hackathons in quant trading and AI for finance.
As Chief of Staff at Dryft, Estelle has her hands on high-priority projects in product, automation, and company culture, working closely with the CEO and CTO. She also brings something harder to find on paper: an energy for the work that's contagious across the team.
Outside of work, she does art, spends her time outdoors, and, being half French, is known to host the best crêpes soirées in town.
